Yes, our Lord knows needs and how to fill them! Serve-One in conjunction with Operations 29:11 and Wings of Faith were able to supply 5,000 lbs. TO Gleanings for the Hungry (see gleanings.org) with fresh fruits and vegetables, snacks, juice, frozen meat and other kitchen supplies. We were able to use the same truck to reload with trail mix, soup mix and dried fruit FROM Gleanings and head east. Serve-one met the truck again in Barstow with more fresh stuff and then we went to NAOMI House (thenaomihouse.org) to drop off several hundred pounds of fresh food. Then on to fill the Holbrook warehouse with the non perishable stuff. The rest of the perishables went to the Bread of Life Mission in Holbrook (bolmaz.com) to feed their residents with some good, fresh, quality food. 1597 miles later and lots of diesel fuel, we returned one pallet of soup mix and one of trail mix for the ministries supported by Wings of Faith in other directions (in California and Nevada) This was totally and completely led by God and a great team of Christians devoted to spreading the love of our Lord to all those in need of His blessed Hope! Praise Him from whom all blessings flow!
